Connect, Collaborate, and Inspire at the 2026 WDS Forum & IVWG The WDS Forum & Industry Visioning Work Group (IVWG) is a unique event that brings together influential leaders, dermatologists, and industry partners. The Forum combines education and networking with a retreat-style environment, creating a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage in high-level discussions while renewing your connections with the women's dermatologic community. Join us for a forward-thinking and inclusive event focused on advancing our profession and inspiring change.
Celebrating 35 Years of Mentorship 2026 marks the 35th anniversary of a cornerstone of the Women's Dermatologic Society: our Mentorship Program! During this year's Forum, we will celebrate this milestone, which embodies our commitment to fostering professional growth, leadership, and excellence in dermatology. All past and current mentor-mentee pairs are invited to join us at a special discounted rate to celebrate!
What to Expect By the end of the Forum, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate emerging research and clinical advancements in dermatology, including innovations in medical, surgical, cosmetic, and pediatric dermatology.
- Discuss the role of mentorship, sponsorship, and leadership in the advancement of women and underrepresented groups in dermatology.
- Foster professional growth and career development through networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among dermatology professionals at various career stages.
- Incorporate patient-centered approaches with a focus on dermatologic conditions disproportionately affecting women.
Give Back to the Local San Antonio Community On Friday afternoon, join your fellow attendees for a meaningful opportunity to give back to the local community. During this optional service activity, attendees will be assembling skincare kits for The Salvation Army's Emergency Women & Children Shelter — made possible by generous product donations from our sponsors.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring donations of high-need items to support the shelter's guests, including feminine hygiene products, diapers, and small toys.
This is a wonderful chance to connect with colleagues while making a tangible difference in the lives of women and children in need.
