Event Cancellation Policy

By registering for the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS) 2027 Annual Meeting & Luncheon, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions for cancellation outlined in this policy.  

General Cancellation Terms 
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. 
  • The effective date of your cancellation will be the date WDS receives your written request. 
  • Refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days after the cancellation is confirmed. 
Event Cancellation Tiers 
  • Cancellations received on or before February 3, 2027: A full refund, less a $35 administrative fee, will be issued. 
  • Cancellations received between February 4, 2027 and March 10, 2027: A 50% refund of the registration fee, less a $35 administrative fee, will be issued. 
  • Cancellations received after March 10, 2027, or for no-shows: No refunds will be issued. 
Transfer Policy  
  • Registrant Substitutions: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another eligible individual within WDS or your organization without penalty. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] by March 10, 2027.  
  • The substitute must meet the same eligibility criteria as the original registrant. 
Force Majeure / Event Cancellation by WDS 
  • In the unlikely event that WDS must cancel the 2027 Annual Meeting & Luncheon due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, public health emergency), registrants will receive a full refund of their registration fees. 
  • WDS is not responsible for any other costs incurred by the registrant (e.g., travel, accommodation fees) due to such cancellations. 
The WDS reserves the right to consider exceptions to this Event Cancellation Policy on a case-by-case basis, specifically for situations involving extenuating circumstances. Any such exception must be approved by the WDS Executive Director.
