Additional Information

Please note that Resident/Fellow registration is limited to physicians currently enrolled in an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency or post-residency clinical dermatology fellowship, or an equivalent recognized international training program. Medical students and research fellows do not qualify for this registration category.

Event Cancellation Policy:

By registering for the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS) 2027 Forum & IVWG, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions for cancellation outlined in this policy.  

General Cancellation Terms 

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. 
• The effective date of your cancellation will be the date WDS receives your written request.
• Refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days after the cancellation is confirmed. 

• Cancellations received on or before 1/6/27: A full refund, less a $35 administrative fee, will be issued. 
• Cancellations received between 1/7/27 and 3/25/27: A 50% refund of the registration fee, less a $35 administrative fee, will be issued. 
• Cancellations received after 3/26/27, or for no-shows: No refunds will be issued. 

Transfer Policy  

• Registrant Substitutions: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another eligible individual within WDS or your organization without penalty. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] by 3/25/27.  
• The substitute must meet the same eligibility criteria as the original registrant. 

Force Majeure / Event Cancellation by WDS 

• In the unlikely event that WDS must cancel the 2027 Forum & IVWG due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, public health emergency), registrants will receive a full refund of their registration fees. 
• WDS is not responsible for any other costs incurred by the registrant (e.g., travel, accommodation fees) due to such cancellations. 

The WDS reserves the right to consider exceptions to this Event Cancellation Policy on a case-by-case basis, specifically for situations involving extenuating circumstances. Any such exception must be approved by the WDS Executive Director.
