Join a Committee

Volunteering for committee service is a great way to build leadership experience and help guide the future of WDS. A variety of committee opportunities are available. Most committees meet virtually, work via Basecamp or email between calls, and may also meet in person at the Annual Meeting.

The Call for Committee Interest for 2026 is open now through January 7, 2026. If you are interested in serving, please select your top areas of interest from a range of activities so we can align your interests and skills with the most appropriate committee opportunity.

Share Your Areas of Interest

Committee assignments are made by the incoming President each January. Placement is not guaranteed if the number of volunteers exceeds available opportunities. Committee members will be notified of their appointments and will begin their terms immediately following the Annual Meeting. Submissions received after the deadline will be held for consideration the following year.
