Who should attend?
The Forum & IVWG is a premier, retreat-style experience that brings together dermatologists across all career stages for meaningful mentorship, connection, and professional growth. It is a space to learn from one another, share experiences, and build lasting relationships that elevate personal lives, careers, and our specialty. Attendance at the Forum is open to Dermatology residents, post-residency fellows, attendings, and industry leaders. Please note that Resident/Fellow registration is limited to physicians currently enrolled in an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency or post-residency clinical dermatology fellowship, or an equivalent recognized international training program. Medical students and research fellows do not qualify for registration for this event. 

What can attendees expect? 
By the end of the Forum, participants will be able to:
  • Evaluate aspects of their lives that they can modify or change to improve their work life balance.
  • Discuss the role of mentorship, sponsorship, and leadership in the advancement of women and underrepresented groups in dermatology.
  • Foster professional growth and career development through networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among dermatology professionals at various career stages.
  • Incorporate patient-centered approaches with a focus on dermatologic conditions disproportionately affecting women.

What is the weather like in Clearwater Beach in April? 
April in Clearwater Beach brings warm, pleasant, and mostly dry conditions with low humidity, featuring average daily high temperatures around 79°F to 82°F and overnight lows dropping to a comfortable 64°F to 68°F.

What is the dress code for the Forum & IVWG? 
Meeting resort casual — polished and professional, but relaxed and comfortable.  Be sure to bring your favorite pajamas for our Derms in Pajamas Movie Night!

How can I get to the Forum & IVWG? 
Ground Transportation: St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) is about 15 miles from the resort and Tampa International Airport (TPA) is 23 miles from the resort. Ride share and taxis are available at both airports.
Parking: Valet parking is available for overnight guests at a rate of $40/night.
