The Women's Dermatologic Society's Signature Fundraising Event, the WDS Legacy Gala is a night to honor the trailblazers who have shaped the Women’s Dermatologic Society and to celebrate leaders whose contributions have left a lasting impact on dermatology. The WDS Legacy Gala also serves as an important fundraiser in support of the WDS mission. Your presence at the WDS Legacy Gala honoring Dr. Amy Paller, directly funds mentorship, leadership development, and global outreach for women in dermatology.  We are pleased to offer two registration options this year: VIP Registration, featuring an enhanced event experience, or an Individual Ticket to join us for an unforgettable evening of celebration.  Come celebrate with us, this is one evening you won't want to miss!

Event Cancellation Policy

By registering for the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS) 2027 Legacy Gala, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions for cancellation outlined in this policy.  

General Cancellation Terms

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
  • The effective date of your cancellation will be the date WDS receives your written request.
  • Refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.

Event Cancellation Tiers

  • Cancellations received on or before February 3, 2027: A full refund, less a $35 administrative fee, will be issued.
  • Cancellations received between February 4, 2027 and March 10, 2027: A 50% refund of the registration fee, less a $35 administrative fee, will be issued.
  • Cancellations received after March 10, 2027, or for no-shows: No refunds will be issued.

Transfer Policy

  • Registrant Substitutions: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another eligible individual within WDS or your organization without penalty. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] by March 10, 2027.
  • The substitute must meet the same eligibility criteria as the original registrant.

Force Majeure / Event Cancellation by WDS

  • In the unlikely event that WDS must cancel the 2027 Legacy Gala due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, public health emergency), registrants will receive a full refund of their registration fees.
  • WDS is not responsible for any other costs incurred by the registrant (e.g., travel, accommodation fees) due to such cancellations.

The WDS reserves the right to consider exceptions to this Event Cancellation Policy on a case-by-case basis, specifically for situations involving extenuating circumstances. Any such exception must be approved by the WDS Executive Director.
