Legacy Celebration Gala

The Women’s Dermatologic Society is delighted to announce Amy Paller, MS, MD, as the honoree of the 2027 Legacy Celebration. We are thrilled to recognize Dr. Paller’s extraordinary career and her profound influence as a clinician, investigator, educator, mentor, and longtime member and Past President of the WDS community. We look forward to celebrating her remarkable legacy during the Legacy Celebration fundraiser on Friday, March 19, 2027, in San Francisco.

Our most elegant affair, the Legacy Celebration is a night to honor the trailblazers who have shaped the Women’s Dermatologic Society and to celebrate leaders whose contributions have left a lasting impact on dermatology. The Legacy Celebration also serves as an important fundraiser in support of the WDS mission. Net proceeds benefit the WDS Legacy Long Term Reserve Fund, which supports board-directed strategic initiatives and key WDS programs, including mentorship, leadership development, and global outreach.

Dr. Paller is the Walter J. Hamlin Professor and Chair of Dermatology at Northwestern University, where she has served as Chair since 2004. An internationally recognized leader in pediatric dermatology and inflammatory skin disease research, she has authored nearly 800 peer-reviewed publications, led landmark clinical trials, and advanced the care of patients with complex genetic and inflammatory skin disorders. Her distinguished leadership includes service as President of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, Society for Investigative Dermatology, Society for Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance, International Society for Pediatric Dermatology, International Eczema Council, and American Dermatological Association.

Throughout her career, Dr. Paller has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to mentorship, guiding hundreds of students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty. Her dedication to developing future leaders embodies the spirit and mission of the Women’s Dermatologic Society.

Registration will open in September, with additional details to be announced soon.
