UIM Resident Aesthetic Research Mentorship AwardThe WDS Underrepresented in Medicine (UIM) Resident Aesthetic Research Mentorship Program is designed to enhance the knowledge and education of UIM dermatology residents in aesthetic and procedural dermatology through mentorship with a leader in this subspecialty. Purpose of AwardThe purpose of the award is to develop mentoring relationships that might not otherwise be possible due to distance or funding availability. Along with mentorship, the program is designed for successful execution and completion of a research-based project that should be appropriate for publication and/or presentation at a professional dermatology meeting. Funding RequirementsAwardees will be required to submit a standardized summary statement of their experience as well as receipts in order to receive their award funds. The award funds will be distributed upon completion of the experience. Requests for funds, with receipts, must be received by WDS no more than 90 days after the experience ends.
