MEET THE WDS STAFF
MISSY ZAGROBA | Executive Director
Missy joined the Women’s Dermatologic Society in September 2015 as Executive Director. Before joining WDS she served as Executive Director for the Clinical Immunology Society, focusing particularly on increasing annual fundraising, implementing new programming and managing the continuing medical education efforts. Prior to joining the Clinical Immunology Society, Missy spent 11 years with the hospitality division of the Kohler Co. where she led the efforts of planning and execution of the Meetings & Events team, fundraising for annual events, and providing exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers.
Missy is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and a member of the Wisconsin Society of Association Executives (WSAE). Missy enjoys spending time with her husband and five children where their weekends are jam-packed with the kid’s activities, family adventures, Wisconsin sports, and cooking together.
COURTNEY ANCLAM | Service & Program Manager
Courtney joined the Women’s Dermatologic Society in October 2015. As Program Coordinator, she will assist with the day to day management of membership, event registration, and be the first point of contact when members call WDS. Prior to joining WDS, she worked in customer-service oriented jobs and looks forward to interacting with the WDS members.
Courtney graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She enjoys reading, taking walks when the Wisconsin weather allows it, and spending time with family and friends. As a new Milwaukee resident, she is enjoying exploring the city and discovering all it has to offer.
DEEDEE (DENICE) MADER | Membership Manager
Deedee joined the Women’s Dermatologic Society in June 2016 and will work closely with Membership. Before joining WDS Deedee spent 9 years overseeing programs at Life Navigators; a non-profit organization working to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental and related disabilities. While there Deedee focused on new program growth, quality assurance and collaborative partnership development. Prior to Life Navigators Deedee served in the Rehabilitation Services department for RCS leading an agency wide certification process and securing funding for special programs and events for persons with disabilities.
Deedee graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater with a BA in Psychology/HR Business minor. After graduation Deedee participated in Leadership Menomonee Falls and attended graduate classes at University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Deedee values spending her free time with family, friends and puppy Logan sharing in outdoor activities such as volleyball, stand-up paddle boarding, skating and boating. Deedee also enjoys travel and volunteering her time with various organizations including Habitat for Humanity & Alpha Sigma Sorority.
KIM SCHECHTER | Program & Communications Coordinator
Kim joined the Women’s Dermatologic Society in February 2017. As Program and Communications Coordinator, she will help keep members up to date on all social media platforms, as well as, through the monthly newsletter. She will help promote the WDS and work closely with the IJWD. Prior to joining WDS, She worked for a few non-profits in the greater Milwaukee area specializing in fundraising and social media marketing.
Kim initially graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2013 with degrees in theatre and photography. After interning for the American Diabetes Association, she decided to change paths and went back to school at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she graduated in 2016 with a BBA in marketing.
When not volunteering for Non-profits, Kim enjoys exploring the Milwaukee food scene, traveling whenever she gets the chance, and enjoying the outdoors.
MAGGIE GRUENNERT | Meetings Manager
Maggie joined the Women’s Dermatologic Society in September 2015 and will work closely with the Service Committee on the planning, execution and promotion of all their outreach efforts. She will also assist with the Annual Meeting and Luncheon.
Prior to joining WDS she worked for a Private Country Club working closely with their membership planning special events as well as public outreach. Maggie graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Public Relations. After graduation Maggie also attended Waukesha County Technical College to get a Certification in Meeting and Event Planning. Maggie enjoys running in races around Wisconsin to benefit various causes and volunteering her time at local community events. As a newly-wed living in Wisconsin she enjoys learning to golf with her husband, baking and crafting!
