Dear Corporate Sponsor:
TThe WDS would like to take this opportunity to thank all our corporate sponsors for their generosity and enthusiasm over the past years. With your assistance the WDS has grown to over 1,300 members and been able to allow many successful educational and career enhancing programs and events to occur. All of these programs have helped women in dermatology “realize and fulfill their greatest potential,” which is part of our Mission Statement.
We have developed this brochure of Sponsorship Opportunities (Download PDF Version) to enable our current and future sponsors to view at a glance the many programs that the WDS offers. The sponsoring company’s name will be acknowledged on all printed material for that program, newsletters, web site, banners (especially at the annual meeting). We will work with individual contributors to devise appropriate recognition plans.
Thank you in advance for your support and for your future consideration. It is with the help of corporate support that the Women’s Dermatologic Society’s programs and events will continue to flourish.
Sincerely,

Mary Lupo, MD
President

Listed below are programs for which the WDS seeks sponsorship. All contributions will be accepted on a first-come basis. Unrestricted grants are greatly appreciated.
Currently, some programs are fully supported by industry sponsors. These programs include the Mentorship Program, Annual and Semi-annual Networking Reception, and the Career Development Awards.
* A named sponsorship requires a minimum commitment of three years.
Annual Luncheon Business Meeting
Help to offset the luncheon costs to include guest speakers, decorations, music, food, A/V equipment, etc. This is our signature meeting and is the key function for the WDS.

International Travel Grants
Each grant will provide support for international women dermatologists to attend the WDS Annual Meeting Luncheon and the AAD Annual Meeting. These grants will be provided to international dermatologists who demonstrate financial need.

WDS Web Site (www.womensderm.org)
Financial assistance is needed to maintain and expand our web site, which offers a valuable resource center for information and notices about our current and upcoming activities. New membership applications, event registrations and a literature site with books of general interest are also available. All these resources provide a wealth of information to our members around the globe.
Practice Enhancement Receptions
Two times per year, often in conjunction with the AAD meetings, WDS hosts a Practice Enhancement Reception where members have the opportunity to view the office layout and equipment of a local physician with a successful practice. As sponsor for this event, you will have the chance to meet many WDS members in all stages of their careers.
Member Renewal Retreat Weekend
Every other year, the WDS hosts a Renewal Retreat Weekend where members are invited to spend a weekend learning new skills, interacting with members and fostering good will. Financial support is offered to WDS residents to attend the retreat.
Third-year Resident Sponsorship to WDS Luncheon Meeting
WDS would like to encourage third-year dermatology residents to attend the WDS Luncheon meeting. Sponsorship will assist us in providing this opportunity.
WDS Individual and Regional Networking Receptions
In addition to our main receptions, we would like to reach out individually as WDS members to network with future members on a smaller scale, such as small networking receptions in their homes or one-on-one meetings (lunch or dinner). A grant is needed to facilitate this new outreach program.

WDS Newsletter
The WDS newsletter is considered to be one of the most valuable benefits of a WDS membership. It is designed to give information that is relevant to our members to enhance both personal and professional growth.

Unrestricted Educational Grants
These grants are the most appreciated. Funds in this category are used to ensure the success of all WDS programs. These grants are also acknowledged at the Annual Meeting Luncheon.

Innovative Programs
We invite and challenge sponsors to present new venues and programs for consideration, such as, sponsorship of a WDS toll free phone number, public relations activities, and other special events.
