ll past presidents of WDS were presented with diamond rose pins in recognition of the role they played in bringing WDS to where it is today.
As a way of saying thank you for what each of them have done for WDS over the years, each was presented with a newly designed WDS President’s Pin. From this year forward, this new pin will be presented annually to each WDS President as she completes her term in office.
This pin is something very special. It is a replica of the WDS Rose pin that our members wear proudly; however, this pin is 14K gold with tiny diamonds laid inside the crevasses of the rose in a circular pattern.
These new pins were made possible through the generous support of InaMed Corporation, through a grant to the WDS. Dr. Susan Weinkle worked with a jewelry designer to create this very unique pin — we know future WDS Presidents will treasure it.
