A record number of dermatologists belonging to the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS) have taken action to combat skin cancer by volunteering 3,500 hours of their time in 61 cities since 2004.
WDS reports that an unprecedented number of its 1,600 members volunteer to promote skin health awareness. This effort mirrors the national skin cancer screening initiative of the American Academy of Dermatology. (Click here to read more)
The WDS Foundation Board of Directors has engaged the services of Capital Advantage, Inc. This will make it easy and convenient for WDS members to donate to the Women’s Dermatology Society Foundation. The firm offers turn key solutions to assist members who wish to make donations. WDS Derm Surgeons Committee has created a sign-up sheet for interested members.
You can either sign-up online or download the form to FAX or mail in.

Work with a leading dermatologist and learn about this fascinating field of medicine. Grants of up to $2000 each will be awarded to qualifying medical students interested in learning more about dermatology by working with a leading dermatologist in private practice or at the university level.....
