2010 Rose Hirschler Award Presented to Susan Weinkle, MD

The Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS) proudly announces that Susan H. Weinkle, MD was honored with the prestigious Rose Hirschler award at its 35th Annual Meeting Luncheon in Miami, Florida.

This honor, named after the first known female dermatologist in the United States, is given annually to a physician whose contributions to medicine have served to enhance the role of women in the practice of dermatology. Well known to WDS members, Dr. Weinkle has served in many roles, including WDS president in 2001-2002. Her enthusiasm for mentoring and building enduring relationships within the dermatology community has been inspirational.

Dr. Weinkle joins an esteemed group of past recipients of the Rose Hirschler Award.
