Dr. Bergfeld received the American Academy of Dermatology's Marion B. Sulzberger Award in 1997 and was the recipient of the AAD Golden Triangle Award 2000 for Community Service. In addition, she has also served on several AAD and Women’s Dermatology Society Visionary Committees. Dr. Bergfeld has received many AAD Presidential citations that have included Leadership in AAD Communications and the Volunteer Circle

Dr. Bergfeld is the author of 519 publications, 3 books and 68 book chapters. Dr. Bergfeld has also served on many editorial journal boards and has been a reviewer in both her professional fields of clinical dermatology and dermatopathology.

Dr. Weinkle has been in solo private practice since 1984, specializing in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology. She has held academic appointments at Stanford University Hospital, the University of California Irvine Medical Center, and most recently at the University of South Florida.

Dr. Weinkle is affiliated with numerous professional societies. She currently serves on the board of directors of the American Academy of Dermatology. She was recently elected to the board of directors of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She has also served as past President of the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Weinkle serves as vice chairperson of the Dermatologic Foundation and is also a board trustee.

Dr. Weinkle has published over a dozen articles on skin carcinoma, surgical techniques, and cosmetic therapies. She frequently lectures on behalf of the American Academy and other leading dermatology societies. Dr. Weinkle is passionate about all aspects of dermatology: mentoring, scientific innovation, and building enduring relationships within the dermatology community.

A board certified dermatologist specializing in dermatology and dermatologic surgery including state-of-the-art cosmetic surgical procedures, Dr. Wexler is known for her attention to body symmetry and her dedication to meeting patients’ personal goals. Her specialties include full body liposuction using the tumescent technique, facial fat transplantation, Botulinum injection into facial lines and laser resurfacing. Her dermatology group includes specialists in chemical peels, vein injections, laser, collagen implantation and treatment of skin cancer.

After receiving her medical degree in 1979, Dr. Wexler began a four-year residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, where she served three years in the Department of Internal Medicine and one year in the Department of Infectious Diseases. After receiving her master’s degree in microbiology from Boston University, Dr. Baldwin spent two years as a research associate in the immunoparisitology laboratory of Dr. John David at Harvard Medical School. She returned to Boston University for her medical training. She completed a medical internship at Yale- New Haven Hospital and then returned to her roots for her dermatology residency and chief residency at New York University Hospital.

Since finishing her residency and obtaining her board certification, she has joined the faculty at the State University of New York at Brooklyn. Since joining the faculty, she has developed interests in acne and keloid scarring. Dr. Baldwin has published and lectured extensively on these topics, as well as many others throughout dermatology.
