WDS at LPGA Event Sept 20-24 in Danville, CA

WDS is conducting a skin screening initiative called: "Play Safe in the Sun at LPGA" -- at LPGA Longs Drugs Challenge Tournament at the Blackhawk Country Cub in Danville on September 20th and 22-24, 2006.

The WDS has received tremendous response to these events which have been held in other parts of the country and is the recipient of an AAD Gold Triangle Award as the result of these efforts.  You can read more about past events (and view photos!) on the WDS Website HERE

Dr. Allison Metz and Dr. Wendy E. Roberts are coordinating this event for the SF/Bay Area and are seeking dermatologists who are interested in conducting skin screenings and being part of the WDS "sun safety" booth.  This is a fun way to get to know other local dermatologists, to be involved in an event that attracts a lot of media attention, and to provide a much-needed community service that appreciated by the LPGA players and spectators who visit the exhibit booth.

Are you available to come to Danville on any of the following times to help us fill these shifts?...

  • September 20 (Wednesday):
LPGA Player Screenings 10:00am-3:00pm (LPGA Player's Screening, female dermatologists only per LPGA requirements)
