WDS Networking Breakfast at the ASDS Annual Meeting

The Women’s Dermatologic Society held a Networking Breakfast and Panel Discussion on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Friday, April 28, 2017 at the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) Dermatology Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. The breakfast was well attended by WDS Members and ASDS Meeting Attendees. The breakfast offered an opportunity to network and engage in a panel discussion.

Panelist at the luncheon included Murad Alam, MD (WDS Treasurer), Pearl E. Grimes, MD (WDS President-elect), and Adelaide Hebert, MD (WDS Immediate Past President). The panelists discussed topics in residency and training opportunities, provided advice for early career dermatologist, and tips to achieve work/life balance. The panel was engaged with the audience taking questions and creating an open forum discussion.

The WDS Residents, Fellows & Young Physicians Committee sponsored resident tickets for the luncheon, allowing 50 WDS Resident Members attend this networking event.
